Native Cerioporus squamosus - JCMDS1 (Dryad’s Saddle) Liquid Culture

  10ml of Dryad’s Saddle liquid culture, complete with a 16g prick & IPA wipe.

We were kindly tipped off to the whereabouts of this huge native Cerioporus, fruiting in Poole, Dorset. We carried out a tissue clone back at our lab and quickly cleaned up the culture to begin cultivation trials. After a few attempts we cracked it and we’ve now successfully fruited this mushroom a number of times. 

This native Dryad’s Saddle produces large trumpet like fruits, occasionally a single large fruiting but more often than not 3-4 fruiting bodies. Usually a single flusher but huge yields from that first flush.
