Take your mycology game to the next level, with these lids..
Built using 70mm Polypropylene lids with an additional silicon seal, both capable of withstanding your pressure cooker/ autoclave
Each lid comes complete with a single polypropylene bulkhead and nut, sealed in place with RTX gasket sealant, attached to this is a 6mm silicon hose, for drawing up your precious spore solution. While externally there is another 6mm silicon hose leading to a luer lock for quick and easy attachment/removal of your syringe.
To ensure aseptic conditions with your equipment we have fitted a hose clamp to the draw hose, to ensure no contaminated air is drawn back into your jar of precious broth!
The lids as standard, come with a 0.22micron adhesive filter patch which will deal with any pressure differentials between the jar and atmosphere.
All parts are designed to withstand the high temperatures associated with steam sterilisation.
